Bamboo is also antibacterial and antifungal. This is because bamboo contains an antibacterial and bacteriostatic bio-agent called "Bamboo Kun", which allows it to thrive in the wild without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. This beneficial property of the plant is retained in its textile form, killing all bacteria and keeping the wearer feeling fresh and odor-free for longer.longer odor-free and making the garment healthier and more hygienic. Draws moisture away from the skin so that it evaporates.
