Where does the name Switcher come from?
The name "Switcher" is composed of two English words : "sweatshirt" and "to switch". This name signaled a change in T-shirt and sweatshirt consumption habits, because in 1981 all T-shirts and sweatshirts on the market had large lettering, whereas the Switcher items were offered without lettering, but in numerous colors.

When Switcher was founded, the founder vacillated between a whale, a rhinoceros and an elephant. All three are large mammals that feed exclusively on plants. They do not eat other animals and are therefore not dangerous. In the end, they decided on the whale with its round and harmonious shape.

In Switzerland, the yellow whale now has a supported awareness of over 90%.
